Startup Masterclasses

What it takes to
build something real

Exviona brings together practitioners who have navigated the hard parts of starting a company. Each programme is built around specific decisions — how to create a strategy that works, how to validate before you build, and how to move from an idea to a functioning business without wasting years.

What we offer

Six areas where founders get stuck

  • 01

    Strategy before the product

Most early-stage failures trace back to building before understanding the market. This programme teaches how to define a position, stress-test assumptions, and create a strategy that works across different market conditions — before a single line of code is written.

  • 02

    Founding team dynamics

Co-founder conflict is one of the leading causes of early startup failure. This module covers how to structure roles, handle disagreements about direction, and set expectations early — with frameworks used by experienced operators, not theoretical models.

  • 03

    Customer discovery that sticks

Talking to customers is not the same as learning from them. Participants practise structured interview techniques, learn to separate real problems from polite feedback, and build a discovery process that produces decisions — not just data.

  • 04

    Revenue model design

Choosing the wrong monetisation structure early creates compounding problems. This session examines real pricing decisions across B2B and B2C contexts, including how to adjust when initial assumptions prove wrong without losing existing customers.

  • 05

    Operations at the early stage

What to do yourself, what to delegate, and what to simply not do yet — these decisions shape how much runway you actually have. The programme covers lean process design for teams of two to ten people working under real resource constraints.

  • 06

    Fundraising without the myths

Investor expectations, term sheet basics, and when raising money is the wrong move — this module gives a grounded view of the funding landscape. Instructors include founders who have raised and those who scaled without external capital.

How sessions run

The structure behind each programme

Every Exviona masterclass follows a consistent format so participants know what to expect — and can prepare properly. Sessions are not lectures. They are structured around real decisions, with time for questions and direct feedback from the instructor.

  1. 1
    Framing the problem

Each session opens by defining the specific decision or challenge being addressed — grounded in a real scenario, not a hypothetical case study.

  2. 2
    Live demonstration

The instructor walks through their actual approach — showing the tools, the reasoning, and the trade-offs they made in a comparable situation.

  3. 3
    Participant application

Attendees apply the technique to their own context during the session, with structured prompts and time to work through the first iteration.

  4. 4
    Critique and refinement

Voluntary sharing with instructor feedback closes each session. Critique is specific and honest — not encouraging language without substance.

Questions people ask before enrolling

Answers written from what participants actually ask — not a generic FAQ template.

What does a startup strategy masterclass actually cover?

Each masterclass covers the full arc of early-stage strategy: identifying a viable problem space, validating demand before building, structuring a founding team, and mapping a realistic path to first revenue. Sessions include live demonstrations and step-by-step walkthroughs from practitioners who have built and scaled companies.

How is Exviona different from a general business course?

Exviona focuses exclusively on the startup context — early-stage decisions, resource constraints, and fast iteration cycles. The instructors are founders and operators, not academics. Content is built around specific scenarios you are likely to face in the first 12 to 18 months of building a company.

Can participants from outside Poland join the programmes?

All programmes are delivered in English and designed for a global audience. Participants join from across Europe, North America, and Asia. There are no geographic restrictions, and sessions are recorded so different time zones can catch up without missing content.

How long does it take to see results from what is taught?

That depends heavily on where you are starting and how consistently you apply what you learn. Some participants clarify their positioning within a few weeks. Building traction takes longer — typically several months of focused work. The programmes give you a framework and honest feedback, not a shortcut.
